Hahaha I bet you do the have horses!!!! They are like elephants, they continually eat, and poop!

I don't mind the poop as long as it's not that cecal poop Ona hay bale strings, it lovely grabbing that hahah

They aim for the strings, or if it’s a square bale… whatever spot is going to rub against your clean pants or jacket…

Well I’ve gone and done it… I’m blaming @RoyalChick this time! I was late in collecting the eggs, left them in nest boxes until evening (working on so many projects here…) and when I went to put up the girls… I had three grumpy, broody, wannabe mamas. One departed immediately after I stole her eggs, another pecked at my hand, but was easily relocated to a roost, but the last was my bully girl. I gave her about a dozen eggs, all greens, and set her up in a broody apartment… we will see how it goes. She hatched out two batches of chicks last year. So I’m going to see if she’s as serious as usual.

Wow that's an awesome run ! I love that it's covered too. I need it covered here - we have hawks, eagles and owls.

I like it and it seems the hens consider it "home" these days. I'm not anticipating much trouble from them when it's time to start sleeping in there.
