I must take some pics of my 'grey' ladies and get everyone's opinion on what they think colour wise.... They lay olive eggs, I just call them barnyard mutts.... But they r pretty :love
You must!

This is the link to APHIS wild bird site and you can click on the commercial and backyard site inside this link. It is worth checking both wild birds and commercial/backyard birds. This site tells you all the confirmed cases by county.
Then look at your state vet website for what they are recommending.
Separately I posted a link to a thread here on BYC where most of the informed discussion is going on for the US.

Thanks I will check it out, I should see if OMAFRA has a similar site here in Ontario.

I can pretty much check the northern States and track trends as the weather warms for such things as West Nile etc. We generally are about 3 weeks out from NY and MI for vector bourne diseases, I keep an eye for stuff with the horses like potamac fever and Equine Encephalitis....

Should hold true with poultry too!

Aw… Poor little thing. I’m glad the mouse didn’t make its way into it your house, but that’s a little rough.
Holy moly!!! I know I shouldn't chuckle but in a gallows humour sort of way, it was the ride of its life!! (Poor wee fella)
