You are so fortunate to be raising chicks. It is so much fun watching them grow up. 💕
It is scary fast. They go for a nap and I swear they emerge bigger. I have to check my photos of the equivalent stage with the Roadrunners. I feel like these are growing faster and are more crazy-active.

Wow, been absent for 3 days and a lot has happened. Royalchick has babies. They are so adorable. My grandmother got released from the hospital late Tuesday night. She flat out refused the week of in hospital rehab they wanted her to do. She now is staying with us and starting next week will do in home rehab 3 days a week. She is not happy about that, but it was the only way they would let her come home. She is having to use a walker and is not supposed to get up by herself. Well, me and mom are taking turns watching her around the clock as she tries to do it herself. I've already had to run and catch her once with her trying to sneak out of the bed. We are exhausted, and every day she keeps insisting she's going home in a few days. I'm letting that go in one ear and right out the other.
I'm glad you were able to bring her home. This will be quite challenging for you for some time. The best advice I can give is to make certain you give yourself time to rest as well. Even if you need to hire some help so you can get away for a bit. You need to take care of yourself before you can take care of others.

Absolutely right - @RebeccaBoyd it is not being selfish to need to take a break and have someone else care for her. Important you and your Mom both look after yourselves as well.

Gorgeous.
Thanks, it was hard to get pictures yesterday because I had to take my gloves off to work the camera, but the Orpingtons were sure that every time I took my gloves off I was getting ready to dole out raisins! They would swarm me from across the yard, three on my lap at the same time watching my every move to be the first to get a raisin! It wasn't actually all that relaxing for me! :p

Okay, so this is what I got so far:

upturned eyeliner, legs look more pink than yellow, so probably a European breed as most of them have white skin versus most American breeds have yellow skin (though there are exceptions), single comb. I would love to say Welsummer, like @rural mouse , but I'm not convinced. that @RoyalChick would get a 'single' after what @BY Bob has gone through (though many others have mixed flocks with no issues). Unfortunately, if it were to have a crest, it won't show (like her crested legbars) until feathers start to come in....so I'm going out on a limb and guessing cream crested legbar. for ms. chipmunk chickie. They seem to have a lighter yellow leg, so I'm taking a chance here, and guessing as much based on RC as based on the chick.
I love your psychological approach to this game! I think I have all the breed guesses in unless there are any last minute entries so all will be revealed soon.
