I checked on the govt laws site, you can import up to 2 dozen eggs for your personal use from m any countryUSA to Canada… no problems, stop in at a grocery store, buy a few dozen eating eggs, and some non fruit/veggie general food items donate them or toss them, put the hatching eggs in the cartons, and return from your cross border shopping trip. Just don’t try to bring an apple or lemon! One of my Aunts and her husband used to shop across the border all the time for cheaper groceries… Internationally, it’s a whole other bag of worms.

France here I come! And yep all one would have to do is replace reg eggs with the hatching eggs... I wonder if one could carry-on them....
I love how it states '
(c) eggs encased in mud or other material that preserves their quality for specialty foods
