I promise you all some pictures soon. I stayed up till around 5 am this morning. Grandma was glued to the incubator watching everything. Me and mom knew it would be useless to take a nap at that point so we drug my brother out and played a game of Monopoly. When we finally laid down 4 were out, all Holly's. I've lost count on how many have pipped as the eggs are being rolled around. I just got up about 10 minutes ago to a wonderful surprise, 2 more out, a Butter baby and a Creamy baby. The Butter baby which was just pushing out of the shell, is yellow. Not only that when it kicked its legs I saw them......FEATHERED FEET!!!! The creamy chick took after its daddy and is black. I also see I have a Corona egg pipped finally. The humidity had spiked to 80% and my viewing window had moisture gathering so I took that opportunity to quickly removed the egg shells which dropped it back down into the safe zone. I will give it a few hours to rest and fluff up but this afternoon when it warms up some I will try to give Baby the Butter chick. Cross your fingers she takes it.

I love when I put an egg in front of them and the hen rolls it under herself with her beak, and shoves it under her, rolling it around and settling it under her fluffy Feathers

I have one of two reactions “awww, your going to have chicks soon ” or “no, no, no… you’re not getting that you don’t take care of them and they get broken… no eggs for you! Give that back, Ow! don’t you peck me missy!!!”
