Probably knows about the 'taking your finger off'' bit. Aren't Cassowaries related to the ostrich?

Cousins. The Cassowary is more closely related to the emu but most flightless birds seem to be in the clade Palaeognathae & the whole lot are living dinosaurs!

In newfoundland we have 'come home' year. Happens every few years. Newfoundlanders from all over go back home and party

I was not fully awake when I took this a few minutes ago. I realized after I uploaded the video that I was calling Baby, Bunny instead. Oh well, giving Baby the 3 chicks was a success! One of them was trying to peek out at me when I went outside and she gently tucked it back under her.
