Alright! I have 14 beautiful chickens, used to have 20 but over the years, you know... Anyway, I have one RIR rooster, and 3 RIR ladies, Rudolphia, Meg, and Turnip. I have one Plymouth Rock named Lisa. One huge dark Brahma named Fluffers. 2 White Sussex’, named Angela and Twin of Angela. I have 3 Americauna’s, named Pam, Meredith, and Phillis. 2 Wellsummers named Donald and Trump. And finally, a Golden Laced Wyandotte. Her name is Dotty.

All of my chickens are so very kind. They will walk right over to me and get down so o can pet them. I love chickens like crazy but I am struggling because of predators.
It's so difficult I know. I'm starting to add different areas so they can hide.

Flexi was off me for a long time when Amber died but she really enjoyed her cuddles today and had a good peck of pomegranate after :love

It's always the parents fault when things go wrong even when it rains
That’s promising for me I’m hoping. I have Hen-Rietta on my shoulder as I text this. Seems that she needs some fluffy butt cleaning. (She’s the last of my original tribe) and she’s very sweet also.

I'm giving Agatha an antibiotic, does anyone think it would be best too treat all of them? As they are so close.

Flexi is very tired lately but this could be because of the work that's going on here
I think I have found my answer. It's not advisable to give them all antibiotic because it could weaken their immune system. I can't bring Agatha in due to the awful noise within my home and this roof replacement. I just hope flex doesn't get sick because those two are joined at the wings

Sure hope she is ok 💖

Guests. I vote for this one. Whenever people want to see my chickens, they all run like Godzilla is invading. Even Nevada, who is always under my feet when it's just me. They may also still be trying to figure out a new flock order.
I started getting guests to give treats, now I have cookie Monster chickens!! Whenever anyone comes by they get mobbed by chickens hahaha.

Imagine someone terrified of chickens being mobbed by my motley crew!!! They run screaming and the chickens run after them looking for food

Foxes and weasels. We have an entire fox family and in the middle of the night they sound like they are screaming. They have gotten 4 of ours...
Electric fencing is awesome. And very entertaining with foxes and kids haha hahahahaha

Run 2 strands one about 6 inches off the ground the second one at 2 feet off the ground. Will also keep cats, dogs, racoons and coyotes at bay. Endless hours of entertainment with wildlife and kids 😁

You can get battery operated fencers or plug in ones. The one I have (original for the horses) is good for 25miles and 12,000volts 😲

Will need a pic of the shoulder sitting 💖
Too late for that, but…. 9DEAC704-9FFB-4CF1-A5F5-BEF7FAB2754D.jpeg
