You all remember this girl Bunny, who grandma taught to lay on the couch and then insisted she hatch there?
DSCN7045.JPG

After she was done with Twig and George and she started back laying the first few days she kept insisting I open the door for her to come inside. I held firm since grandma had went back home that nope, not laying inside. She settled for one of the porch boxes. Grandma has been back a week, in the last 3 days she has let her in to lay 2 of her eggs :he . Same spot, the middle of my couch. In other news, I was just shrieked at, and bitten hard by one of the fat orp sisters Wasabi. She has took to hiding in the old orange rubber maid tub that I used to have in between the horse stalls for when Henrietta was around to lay in. She has used it for 3 days, she was in it first thing this morning so I went out to gather eggs and saw she was still in it. I went to reach under her which she has let me do with no problems until today. She does have a egg under her, but I left it after she bit me. I will keep a check on her and evict her to the roost tonight if she is still in it. I knew I could not get lucky and have all 3 orp girls not go broody like Butter. The devil is only 6 months old.

Yep that's it ! Nougat that's briefly shown also screaming was trying to lay in the pet carrier in the pen, and Chipie wanted the place 🙄. So everyone ends up screaming 🤣.

I must get a video of her running after Gaston and his terrorized squeaks, it's really funny (except for Gaston ! ).
Roosters running in fear from hens is dear to my heart.

Or for that matter getting beat up by them. 🤣

Went out this morning to do some trimming. Hopefully more of them can now fit under here and still enjoy the coverView attachment 3234355View attachment 3234357The trimmings from the deck got taken out the other side of the carport and dumped on top of some of the tall weeds. We'll see if the weeds keep the brush pile up or if I need to get more creative. Then some time in the coop. Hector and his girls are now 24 weeks old.

no idea what the sound he makes at the end means.
That sound is crazy. I have never heard that before.

Twirp nailing Hector......he's nearly 3x her size.....now she runs from him, but the younger lot still give her plenty of respect. I haven't seen any of them pester Thing either. Kren took a step towards her then stopped. He sleeps in the nest box nest to her, too.

George Lopez pilot, made it all the way to Hawaii on Saturday, from Merced county (near me) in a new, modified Cessna 172 1000 SkyHawk. Trip took 18 hours and started with 400 gallons of fuel. Landing with 25 gallons remaining! So, it can be done!!!
🛩️ 🛩️ 🛩️ 🛩️🛩️🛩️:wee:ya:celebrate:clap Congratulations George!
Wow that’s amazing!!! Though that is a long flight!

Thank you for the chuckle re: gramma and Bunny - those two are an item I guess!

Wow 6 months and broody, have a silkie that is like that!!

Thanks for sharing pics. I sure hope this bug clears soon. :hugs
Thanks me too, been over 2.5 yrs since I was sick, forgot how miserable being sick is. Grumpy Kelly can’t even check on the chickies and ponies because the fates also decided that her network should also fail going to the barn.

But at least it gets me off my butt and moving - collected a few eggs earlier, someone is enabling Curly!!!
