The chickens went into the coop for the night earlier than they usually do. They didn't go in the order they usually do (Hector last with cheetah chasing him back out several times). Last in tonight were Lark, Indigo and Pippa. I'm wondering if tomorrow's weather is the culpritI’m not understanding any of this?
Way too early for bed. But they do pretty much whatever they want to.
They like eating the grass seeds of the stems and the grasshoppers that hide in it.
It is! The hornets and wasps are actually easier to deal with you can usually find the nest fairly quickly in a eve or up high somewhere and kill the nest.
are quite clever and they build hives underground using abandoned underground tunnels built by snakes or moles ect.. so they can be pretty large and it really is frightening when you find that they are there when your shovel strikes into the nest 
. The joys of rural living!I have a field that fits the bill, and there’s a couple private runways on island… if you get really bored I’m always accepting help with goatwalking and building projects…and I think I might be closer… considering fuel costs and all.
It’s mostly the bad bite-y bug thing… or sting-y bug thing. Not all my chooks will go for the extra spicy treats (spiders), much to my dismay. And wasps? Even the poor little guys that drowned in my soda leavings? Nope! Hard Nope! It could be the yellow and black stripes are a deterrent?
