Peanuts eyes - this evening there’s bubbles, three big ones on her left eye in the front corner, and another few on her right, same place. This isnt normal and can’t be good. Have too look it up, but why, on the fourth day of antibiotics, is this now happening? Something to do with the antibiotic? Or totally unrelated? Poor Peanut!

She may have a reaction to that antibiotic.

And that my friend is how you are going to end up with surprise chicks next spring. I candled them, I was right, no broody hen. Just some very sneaky evil girls. I also now have to apologize to the yet unseen black snake that I was accusing of being a egg thief.

Only problem with that theory though is the fact I put everyone in the hen house at night - I don’t think eggs would survive overnight

Oh Tina laid another egg this morning and it tasted awful, I think I've given her too many flaxseed in her seed mix, I read that can happen with too much omega

I have a lady coming over in 30 minutes. I’m okay with that, but I’m 60 years old, she’s 27. I will give her the butter and sugar, then she must go. My heart can’t handle much more than that. (I’m saving the eggs for Linda at church Sunday)

I gave her what she asked for, then excused myself and got into my car. Drove around the block and came home. The temptation was just too much for me to handle (darn it, my own daughter is her age … sick! ) I don’t know what I really want, but it’s not that!
