Watching epic fails on YouTube. Why do I find other people’s mistakes and misfortunes so hilarious? It’s not that the stories are funny but that it could happen to me!

I have entered the Valentine's Day contests they've been holding. I had a hard time choosing the right photo for Grandma so what do you think of these photos and which one? Also, I wanted to hike Boiling Springs but it was around 39 F today and tomorrow is supposed to rain.
This wasn't one of the options but Grandma loves to be her closest living animal: the T-Rex. Now she's showing you all that she stands tall and proud, despite listening to Pink Panther in the background.

Yes the 4 active ones have become the Phyllistines with Phyllis as their leader. They roam the yard all day with the large ladies joining in from time to time.

And most are roosting together too, right? Sometimes Lady Featgerington roost with the big ladies and sometimes with this group?

This makes me so happy, Bob. This is what you wanted for Phyllis before the tragedies, and it all worked out.

Exactly! Isn’t that great? Phyllis can be the sub-Queen. Or maybe that would be a Princess or Duchess?

Both options are great but I have already chosen the yarn photo. I was originally going to choose the burrito but it wasn't showing Grandma's full body. They didn't ask for that but still.

Emergency brake deployed
This is what it looks like when Babs flies down from the rafters and finds Bernadette parked on the runway.
One of the many reasons I don’t like having the Math Majors roosting in the rafters is that they rely on the people door being open to give them a landing runway, and I like to close the people door when it gets really cold.
They can do a much shorter flight down to the roost which looks like a safer option to me, but they seem to prefer the drama of the long runway flight.
Sorry about the dark grainy video - it is from the coop cam. I think all the dust at the beginning must be from Eli’s landing that the camera missed.

Mine like the long runway out the people door too. I suspect so they have room to recover safely if the landing gets flubbed. They hop down from the high roosts, frequently by way of the nest boxes, but prefer to fly out the door. Going up is more hop hop hop getting higher each time.
