This is why I don't like high roosts. I hope she is OK. I've seen reports of broken keel bones from falling off roostsI was mistaken about Coco. Upon further inspection this morning, she must have hit her keel bone on something in the coop when she fell. I found bloody feathers underneath her, but otherwise she is fine. I checked her for any signs of broken bones or cuts. She’s gotta be careful! She’s my only egg laying hen at the moment.

I am hoping she is not on here because she is in surgery getting all fixed up and am looking forward to hearing from her when she comes round and stops throwing up.Anyone hear from @TX Chick Noob ? Sure hope she is doing ok
