Have you posted photos of your boys? I have a Polish Roo - Mr P(erfect). Well his actual name is Mr Pompei but he is perfect with the ladies

Aww- how precious! Yes I have posted pictures of them, but there can never be enough pictures of them! Here they are:

This is my rooster Willow as a chick, he was having movie night with my family along with his three brothers. They’re all snuggle bugs, now I have only 2 roosters because my favorite was too overprotective of his girls and started attacking the kids but not me. Here he is (polish rooster) along with his brother. 8718E473-241A-4B73-AD02-E8CD018D5370.jpeg 9B055C8C-5007-4C25-BD93-4F3371F45817.jpeg

Misty’s adorable! I have some silkies and used to have a polish, I think i’ll get a few more because I miss my boy! He was perfect, probably my favorite breed. Or maybe I just lucked out on him, he would sleep in my bed every night (he knew the routine, would just jump out of his cage as a chick and onto his side of the bed!)

Awww! That’s awesome 🥰

I didn’t realize you could swab to check for some of the pathogens. Good to know if I ever add more chickens in the future.

Yep, it’s “The Way of the Chicken”. (Keep reading this thread long enough and you will understand the reference. 😅 Or search for “Ask Aurora” posts in this thread.)
Too bad can’t do that for day olds, I do worry about getting those chicks and putting under my gals but figure it’s a risk I can take.
