How dare you! Don’t even think about commiserating with me! No way. I will run away, I will hide and you won’t find me!
Btw, what does commiserate mean? :gig

Do you think that she is sore - arthritis?

That I why she won’t jump up… ? I think Penelope is like that.
While I'm sure Hattie suffers from arthritis, she is moving very well right now. She has a spring in her step and is bouncing across the lawn all day. She had never been one to go up on the footstool. It's not her way.

It is not the way of the Hattie, but is is the way of the Sydney.

I think our friend @notabitail has literalist tendencies.
I am sure enough time on here with your jokes will cure him if that.
🙂
Did you mean: of that?
Yes, I tend to be literal. Once I was with a family friend. I know the meanings of what people say most of the times. Well, this friend, who is way older than me (I had to fix his computer) took me to a burger shop. The guy running the place said, "is he your adopted son?" I said no. They then explained (something I already knew) that that was used for someone a person really likes or something along the lines of that.
