And it is not at all clear
what's going on with the photoshoot, don't I want her beautiful mug?

Yes that is a broken shovel, it's a reminder for us to try to buy another, when they're in stock!
She’s a beauty I love her colouring. When I get back outside I am going to check for spurs. I don’t think the silkies have them I handle them a lot to check toe nails for trimming.

(I need a new manure fork, I broke mine yesterday I was enthusiastic doing the stalls and twaaannnng broke a right in the middle)

Update. 🙁 she’s weak and seems like she’s out of energy. She’s alive and made it through the night, but all the signs are pointing towards the inevitable. I’m going to try and get her to eat something. :bow:fl
Make her some scrambled eggs - and see if you can get her moving - walking will help with moving things along. Do you have any antibiotics? If she had an egg break in her she will likely need some antibiotics ❤️❤️❤️

As long as it’s chicken related no tax required

So if your hens are broody so you want to hatch eggs?
No. Probably not. Unless I can convince Mom to buy some Silkie eggs. The one chick dying upset the whole we-need-more-chickens things. Didn't take long for anyone to day we can't get any more until we have room (though I think two Silkies can squish in).
