Ohhh, yes! I am loving Havoc's beard - both the fluff and the coloring!

And, @notabitail : Notice how leggy Havoc looks compared to the other two standing head on??

First egg!

It Never Rains, Man it Pours!

The reason here had been ridiculous. It is raining almost every day. Upwards of 4 inches at a time. As proof I give you the magnolia tree in bloom.

This only happens when we have a lot of rain. It is usually the result of an August or September hurricane. I figure it takes around 8 inches Ina 2 to 3 week period. We are way over that.

There is flooding all around us but rest easy we sit on the top of a knoll and are safe.

Rain tax, the Hatchday girl.

Oh you can’t think of it that way, just think of the great coop it will be!

Make sure you document the build for BYC’s coop build - you can post your build 😊
I plan on it.

Anyone want to help me plan the layout? :)

Ya I am rather jealous! It looks great there!
I do too. I didn't think I'd like it, because every other building (house, garage and shed) is cream with brick-red trim. But the colors blend in with the trees and kind of disappear, which was the idea when it was going to be a cabin.

I wish it rained like that here!

It’s cooler inside the house, using a window AC . I thought for sure that Jaffar would appreciate coming inside and cool down.
But no, he bit me!
I offered him some pulled pork, which he ate, but then he bit me.
I checked him all over for any fleas, mites, or fly strikes. He’s clean (as we say in the business)
But he bit me again. It’s those pit bull bites, hanging on the skin.
