Weekly Synopsis - 29 Jul to 05 Aug 2023
==========================
It has been a rather tumultuous week for some of our friends and their chickens. Hopefully next week will be a better one.
GregnLety
-----------
His BR girl who has been feeling poorly and whom a friend was caring for, came home as she wasn't getting any better. Her neck is twisted and it now suspected as being Wry Neck. A Veterinarian visit is on slate for Monday if she isn't any better.

RoyalChick
-----------
had a terrible fright with Piglet, RC had noted a fox hanging around, and was quite shocked to see wee Piglet laying out in the Chicken Yard; as she ran over to check on her, Piglet sat up and looked at her (likely annoyed her snooze was interrupted), and proceeded to have a snack.

Noted that Butters had something protruding from her vent, upon inspection CB was able to pull an approx 8" long fibrous 'poop'; afterwards Butters seemed to be feeling a wee bit better.

Then another tragedy as a second wee chick passed away

--------------
Such tragedy has been in the cards with Rebecca: the loss of her darling silkie chick, Butter the Matriarch taken by a predator, and now a truly horrific tragedy with a dog at large attacking and killing her cherished Silkie hen Chiquita, one of her black hens, and a frantic search for Momma Hen. The dog was shot and rightly so, dogs attacking livestock are dealt with immediately.

Maybe others might have some suggestions?
Miss_BEE
----------
She has suggested that as Phyllis has already flipped herself then waiting till she flips again to see if heads or tails happens... all this so that Queen Aurora can ensure that hens either stop going broody or make a royal directive to only hatch pullets.
