Would you believe this...

They have posted this probiotic, there was no one in the shop to assist me because they didn't put any instructions in at all, only my receipt with my name and phone number. So I just chose another option on calling back. I was then informed it's a powder that apparently you cannot freeze.

The lady on the phone did her very best too help me by asking her colleague. I was told I have to use 2 and a half mil of water to 2 and a half grams of powder and use a syringe to get it to her and Princess.

So they won't provide smaller amounts and charged me £23 pounds for my two chickens, as it's supposed to be for 15 birds. It's such a waste knowing that this probiotic cannot be preserved :( :th:barnie

Stress or what , worrying about Tina and spending money I just cannot afford to lose like this.

So I'm here today to give one of the saddest announcements to everyone here and to all my friends I've made on this thread and to everyone on this website. This pains me more than anything I've ever had to deal with, but after a long and painful amount of arguing with my mom we've decided to sell off most of my beloved hens and roosters... My mom has said that she is and I quote:

So I can only now have five hens and one rooster. I'm so sad and through this arguing and plan making I'm crying at just even the thought of selling me loved hens. I love them so much and they all feel like family and now I must say goodbye to most of them.😭

I'm now deciding who will stay with my flock and who will go and these are some of the hardest things I've had to do. I know for a fact I will be keeping Susan and Eda, but I don't know who else. I'm Aldo trying to decide between my two beloved boys Buff Buck and Darcy.

We are planning on using the money from selling them to get a metal horse trailer and that way we will solve the biggest problem, the wood mites that have absolutely invaded our flock and wooden coop! I'm saying this to mainly you all because I don't really have many other people who like or want to talk about chickens.
Oh I am sorry. That must be heartbreaking. Hopefully you find homes for them all.

I am so sorry to hear this. No doubt you will have hard decisions to make on who to stay, but at least you get to improve your coop and solve the mites problem.
:hugs :hugs

Do you have SNOW over there?!!
Hahaha nope not yet, might have frost this weekend though.

Those photos are from last December. I was busy yesterday as my uncle was here helping me with some work in the barn, so didn’t have time to chase down chooks for photos 😁

So I did a BFTP (blast from the past) photo. 😊
