Sounds like they've started moulting. Getting ready for winter (I know, you don't get snow, but temps still get colder).

Would she have been moulting for 6+ months though? It’s been going on for Splotch for a few months too. I’ve seen lice/mites on them many times. I think that it’s causing feather problems. Pastel is certainly moulting though. My pretty boy is starting to lose the base of his tail area feathers.

I usually get calls about duct cleaning. It sounds like duck cleaning. I had a bit of an argument about 'no, is furnace for cooking ducks?' or 'yes, the ducks are very poopy. When can you come?' It was so funny. The longest I milked out of a person was 2 minutes.

Do you have dirty ducks that need to be cleaned? . I’m not sure if there is such a business that cleans up ducks.
I could just imagine how that conversation went! I would have loved to be involved in that one!

I need y'all's help!!! Is this a specific breed? Look at how gorgeous it it! He is literally the coloest rooster I've seen all day (don't tell Darcy) I'm actually wondering if this is a Ayam cemani mixed with a silver laced, but what do you all think?

If you have seen lice/mites - I hope you are treating them - both the chooks themselves AND their coop
