Do take care of yourself! I lasted without getting it through 3 rounds with hubby and got all but the last booster ('cause if I took it, I wouldn't be able to get the multi-strain fall one - would be too soon), and BAM when I got it in August it knocked me off my feet! Thanks! I just tested positive for Covid. Probably got it on the crowded gig on Saturday, though I masked. Started feeling bad on Wednesday, tested negative Thursday, didn't bother Friday, thought it must be the flu.
Depends on the cockerel! I have some that are 4-5 months old with 1-1.5 in spurs, and some the same age with 'buttons' just a wee bit smaller than your guy's. Generally you have 'noticeable' spurs by 6-8 months, depending on the breed (faster versus slower growing breeds - aka, hybrids versus Jersey Giants) But, even given the same breed, and same general stock (i.e. from same place), there is still variability.Does anyone know how long it takes for a cockerel's spurs to grow out?

Good mamaI forgot how fun they are
They are out and about today for the whole day, mama is keeping them warm when they are chilly, and pounding the crap out of anyone who dares to get too close.
She just had another dust up with Babe - that Babe is a tyrant since she started laying eggs. She even beats on poor Marty.Good mama
