I remember studying that video!I have seen both responses. I once posted a video of them all frozen by an alarm that Aurora gave. It was amazing to watch them wait for her to give the all clear. She also kept doing this low growl to tell everyone it was not clear. Mine had to learn this the hard way just as this woman's poor chickens.
Awwww, Cypriano (is that him?) just wanted some quality alone time...
Thank you!Fabulous photo!
Seems like normal behavior. Maybe another week side by side like that, then provide plenty of escape avenues and visual blocks. But how gorgeous - I thought she seemed to have grey-green legs! They do look pretty green in this picture!Happy Sunday! Everyone got out today. Within my yard I have a fenced off vegetable garden that I ferried Perry (?) over to. Well, she was getting along so well across the fence with the other youth (grooming along side them, synchronized scratching) that I thought I would invite them in as well- give them a chance at being a trio. Well, here they come. Marching, it seems like.

She read them right; after this photo Albert used her meanest big girl peck to show her how unwelcome she was.
So Albert and Whiskey got kicked back out.
