Both of them were or well on their way to being drunk. It is no excuse though, even drunk my dad knew which chickens were mine and which were his. I had the only 2 Dominique's in a slew of red and white chickens. We can call that uncle all the names we like though, I do. Thankfully he was only a uncle by marriage and my Aunt finally divorced him a few years ago. When I was around him, he actually made me despise my own name. As long as I can remember he called me Becker Pecker like it was a cute nickname. Every family has a member who you could go a whole lifetime without seeing again, he is mine.

He sounds like a truly cruel man. Perhaps thoughtless cruel, but cruel none the less. To do that to you causes me to ask what did he do when the world wasn't watching?

Candled eggies. Incubator eggs are probably done, but they get until Sunday before anything happens.
Broody eggs 8/8 had little eyeball shrimpies in there. I showed hubby and he swears one of them was wriggling.
I only got a pic of one polish egg.

And it turned out blurry! But there was an eyeball baby in there I swear! We even saw them inside the dark cochin eggs!
Now to resist candling again until Sunday. My dear broodies are very sweet and tolerant but I don't want to risk hurting the chickys.

My peppermint seeds took off so I put this right next to the coop. Don't worry, it'll be kept in line haha...we won't lose the yard to mint. I plan on training the vine up the wire to give the ladies a refreshing snack.

I realized that it was Wednesday after Ponypoor pointed that out. I think I forgot about the fact it was Wednesday this morning.
