A blast from the past mugshot.
My beloved Maggie who I am sure is not resting in peace but rather chattering up a storm.
Miss our conversations Maggie.

Wow, a true enigma! Sorry not to be up to speed.
Nothing to apologize for. It's hard to keep up around here. She is a mystery and I just love her. She is so like her mum in personality. :love

Great names!
Means both their parents were also orange.
Only 20% of orange cats are female.
I know precisely two things about cat genetics and the orange-calico-gender thing is one of them.
I just love orange kitties. 🄰

Inse they both have funky combs too ā™„ļø

Sweet Ijak...does he ever get to eat? He's such a gentleman letting the girls have their eating frenzy ā¤ļø Laying hens have really big appetites!
I do worry about that sometimes. Everything that Ijak finds he calls the hens over to eat. I like to give him some things for himself sometimes to eat, trying to keep the hens away. This doesn't change him though. I remember when he was a cockerel that just came here, how he took food for himself. It wasn't the best thing, but I wish he would that a bit now.

He does eat a lot from the feeder though.
