Chooks themselves must be vigilant. Good roosters.

You should have seen the Roos today, the geese are back at my neighbour’s place and when they were taking off the racket they make freaked out all the chickens, the roosters were making the alarm call and where do they all run? To me silly chooks!

But I am glad the Roos were warning them and glad everyone ran for ‘cover’.

Have to say I am not happy with the geese being there, but what can I do? The chooks were desperate to get out.

The chicks are coming out into the open air part of the coop a little more each day. And look at Sweet Sue leading the way! In fact, that's Bossy still in the doorway.

I really loved that wee fella he was very handsome
