can't wait to see!!!:wee:love how many different birds/animals do you have????

We've got the Button quail, Coturnix quail, Society finches, Bourkes Parakeets, cockatiels, a pair of ringneck doves and their first baby they hatched who is very tame, and the chickens. Plus 3 cats and a dog. We are going to be moving soon (so I'd hoped my birds hadn't noticed it was spring) and I'm not sure how we are going to doing it!

:love wow!

feeling very frustrated right now. my external thermometer/hygrometer has decided to read 5+/- * low!! the humidity seems accurate but incubator temp won’t read over 96. I used hubby’s meat thermometer to double check and recalibrate but it doesn’t read .5* so i’m holding it at 99 and leaving it in. I candled 1 egg last night and looked normal development with start of spider veining so hopefully it’s just the thermometer i bought. I tried to look as quickly as possible so I wouldn’t lose too much heat. hubby said i could bring incubator in the house, but i’m not sure of a good/safe place to put it.

My Broody has a clutch of eight she started sitting on on the 11th, so I'm going to put her down too, for eight chicken eggs ( RIReds and Barreds with RIRed roo)...

Do you have cats? why not the house... Is there a room to put it away?

no cats but 3 kiddos that i fear would unplug it to plug in something else.....and hubby keeps bedroom below 60 so not much difference than where it is in the shed.

I use to keep mine in our closet. It is a walk-in closet (not big by any stretch of the imagination). I put a chest of drawers in there, with the incubator on top. No one messed with it but me. Now that my kids are bigger ours is in the den.
