Official Squatch Watchers

Soooo, this is how Thunder Monkey and the PIC slept last night.

That's one of my bubbies, Wolf, peeking out from behind the pillows, which is where HE sleeps.

Yup, DEFINITELY picked the wrong kittie kittie! :lau

When we rang in the New Year, we gave each of the furry family kisses. I gave Thunder a kiss, wished her a HNY, and told her I was happy that she *found her way home*. :D
How sweet!

Happy New Year, sweet Squatchy peeps!

:caf

Enjoying my last day of freedom on the couch with a hot cuppa joe, Pulp Fiction on the telly (classic!!!!), my smelly dogs snuggling, and no hangover to speak of. :)

How y'all doing? Gonna play catch up. How's those little pippers, Smuv? Any hatch yet?

Hope y'all are having a peaceful, happy New Year's Day!

Love~

Well the new theory as to why the gas keeps going out is that we are using too much of it, causing low pressure in the line and shutting the low pressure valve. So we spent the last 1.5 hours putting sheets of 1/4 plywood down on the floor to cut the draft seeping up through the floorboards. That seems to have helped a lot and we turned down the heaters and the house is still warming up.

We have farm gas, not clean gas you get in town. I don't know if they put pressure regulators on farm gas wells.
ummm should be so you don't get too much pressure

Kinda weird but related.

I have been watching Homestead Rescue. They had an episode where the folks had access to "farm gas". No regulator and pressure issues. They took a big propane tank and used the gas well to fill it then supply the house from there.

I have absolutely no way of knowing if that is a viable thing. I just found it interesting.

Making a pork roast, TATER salad with bacon, collard greens, and maybe some rolls for dinner.
