Official Squatch Watchers

Yours are young yet Sam. If I remember right.

The other benefit you have is your days stay a bit longer then others that are farther north.

Yesh I am envious of your warm weather in winter AND your many eggs. :p

I got 2 yes 2 eggs yesterday. :he

Hi all. Having sleet and snow here. Left work at noon and didn't get home til after 1. Normally a 25 minute drive. I'm making a double layer yellow butter cake with chocolate buttercream frosting. I'll post pics when I get it frosted.

:drool waiting for cake.......

In the mean time I am going to try and walk the puppy.

She is as tater! She insists on hanging onto the leash.

Taters that sucks. Mine never really slowed down went from 10 eggs a day to 6 or a day. Wonder why mine stayed laying is it because it hasn't got really cold?:idunno
how many hours of daylight do you both get?
When it gets cold birds tend to stay in the coop that is usually darker @BantyChooks

The cake is ready and I have plenty of cold milk. Sorry Sassy .......It's all chocolate buttercream. :(

Hello everyone!

The Milk Drinker took a 4 hour nap today. 4 hours! It's insane. I decided when he was about 2.5 hours into his nap to go back out to the Correll/Corningware store that is going out of business since everything in the store is now 75% off.

I got a bunch of single dishes that we wanted, but their dish and storage ware sets were on sale too. I bought two boxes of the Pyrex glass storage bowls (10 bowls and lids) for $14.99 each (originally $59.99 to use as wedding or shower gifts. I also bought 2 24 piece plain white dish sets ($14.99, originally $59.99) and 1 30 piece plain white set ($24.99, originally $99.99) to have for gifts or to donate if I hear of someone who lost their house. It's insane, that is less than a dollar a dish!

I also got to go to the hardware store to get a few things for fixing coops and attaching baby containment units to the wall. He knows how to push them across the room and tip them if they aren't fastened to the wall. Plus we can get away with using fewer panels and not have the frustration of him dropping things between the fence and the wall this way.

He didn't wake up until after I got back, which is really nice. I guess he needed to catch up on his sleep as much as I did.
