My current temperature is 93° with 59% humidity and my feels like is now 106. I am done in the yard for today. Also here’s an interesting article for all you gardeners out there. Always wear your gloves, and don’t scratch your face!

Ps. I think in that article there is a link to a map. I looked at a map last night and it’s all over North Carolina and many many states.

Where do these nasty things originate? Bad enough we have tons of poison ivy and Virginia creeper, which i am allergic to.

Her crop was pretty empty. I did massage it and nothing else came up. Her breath isn’t great. Not sure I would say sour but smelled different. Poor girl. I hope she’ll be ok.

article says
"Giant hogweed is native to Southwest Asia, he said, and was first seen in the United States in 1917, when it was brought in for ornamental reasons."
I had some in a fence row between me and my neighbor ..I sent him the picture and a link telling him not to touch it... he asked why..I guess he didn't read the link

I used a 60 gallon bag over it, disposable gloves, eye protection, ratty clothes(like I own good clothes lol) .. double bagged it left it in the sun. rolled it up and put it in a feed bag and put it in the garbage
