I always liked hatchet fish. They look like they are upside down all the time. Part of the flying fish family.

All weekend we worked outside on the coop and someone was grilling. :drool
Oh yes, we used to sell all kinds of tropical fish including hatchet fish. I like the personality of the loaches and cat fish, and the way they can roll their eyes! You are making me want fish again.

:barnie:th
Woke up to bright red bloody puddles in my coop. Whomever did it was eating a lot of soil and sand yesterday while free ranging. Which makes sense, because I was back there raking and they were picking through eating bugs galore and thus ingesting a lot of dirt and ALL of them flew right past their actual feed in the morning for a plate of scrambled eggs.
Hoping it’s just coccidiosis because of all the rain and runoff and not something worse.
:hitI’m going to try to get to my TSC this morning for Corid- which kind should I buy? Liquid or powder?
Hoping I can get up there...:fl I’m hearing that the roads are still perilous.

And today’s my b-day and I just wanted a nice quiet day:hit:hit:hit

Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday dear Stacey,
Happy birthday to you!!!!

(and may your chicken's bloody poo turn out to be nothing of significance, or a quick case of cocci!!! FWIW, I got the powdered Corid at TSC, I think it was bovine--maybe 20% I'll have to look--and it was cheap and easy to administer in their drinking water).
