Yesterday it was all care and concern. This morning he’s offering to just yank it off him if he’s okay with that.

Neat idea! Maybe baby legging size?

The best thing is cats heal fast!

Grab some nylons while you're there just in case.
You could tie the cone to the top of the harness as well as the belly side. That should help.

I think I would leave the toe and fasten it around him by tying it. I'm afraid if the end is open he will just pull it up like a sleeve to reach his wound.

My little porcelain d'Uccle didn't make it.

I think she got wet and chilled overnight. I tried to TLC her, warm her in my boobs, Nutridrench, but she just died.

The other two are doing great though! Vey active and spunky.

Here is a pic of my cuckoo marans. I'm calling her Cookie for now.

So this is my girl that seemed sick yesterday.....well she is perfectly fine today. I put her back out with hers friends and she waddled right out to the run chattering the whole way. Her named is Safron but we call her SaffyView attachment 1703943

Yay! She looks great. What breed is she?

I often notice more of a bald ring around the vent of seramas, more so than other hens. I think they preen so much, it kinda makes them more bald.

If you know what time of day she lays, maybe check her before and after, it could just be an egg waiting to come out? Also check first thing in the morning and see if it’s smaller. Could be a mating thing? Other than that, a pic probably would help more.

Yeah, it could just be a preening thing. Sshe always looks like that and it doesn't seem to bother her.

Ah man! Poor Poebe oddball or not that sucks. What kind of Sussex are you eyeballing? Speckled? You want some ping pong ball eggs in your life?


Your're one of the few chicks out there that can make me anxiously await a b-hole pic...if you say its weird iv'e got to see it.

I always wanted a Speckled Sussex because I've heard great things about them. And to me, they look like a large Mille Fleur d"Uccle, and ya know I love them. XO
