Good morning folks :frow

I'm so glad she's doing so much better! I'll continue praying. How are you holding up?
But what critter? There were 3 of the feet, the spine, and fur. No skull and no parts left. It hadn't been there long, no bug activity. The other bunny all I could see was a foot. It had buried the rest with leaves and such.
Fox will bury food for later....
X's 2 -- How are you hold up! Dogs, chickens, and all -- take care of yourself too.

I'm exhausted. Chickens didn't get fed and watered last night. I left the hospital about 15 minutes late and got hung up in Nashville work traffic. That added almost an hour to my daily commute. Their design of I 40 sucks. Everyone who wants to continue on I40 east or west has to change lanes 3 times within just a few miles. Four lanes of traffic merge and everyone on the left wants on the right and everyone on the right wants on the left.

I'm sleeping well, but I have to force myself to eat and remember to take my vitamins. I feel guilty for not spending more time at the hospital, but I'm doing the best I can. I'm working 2-3 hours per day. 2 in the morning 7-9, and then what ever (just clean up) in the evening starting at 5. 3+ hours a day on the highway just sucks.

Take care of yourself. You're no good to anyone if you get sick.

Travel time is the worse

I'm glad work is being flexible for you and the hospital is letting you come and go. Our company is usually pretty good with that. Set timers on your phone for yourself to remind you to eat or take vitamins. That takes a lot of the mental work out of it. Another thing you can do is get some easy to make meals (lunch meat, cheese, veggie trays) to make things easier on you.

Good morning Bob. :frow

It is very important that you stay healthy. Sue needs you healthy. Eat, take your vitamins and get rest when you can.
How are your kids holding up with everything?

Thinking of you, Sue and your extended family. Stay strong Bob. :hugs

This thread was indeed a good concept. It basically recalls a thread of another forum I belong to that was asking ''What's your expertise" It was and still is a thread where members have uplifted the venue some what and begs for an added measure of cordial respect for the skills that quiet often takes many years to master. Hats off.

Welcome. :frow

We may be a bunch of weirdos but we are the best weirdos around.

As an ex-Californian, I did that long commute thing for years and it is a killer. I was young then, too! You end up doing a lot of things in your car, like eating breakfast and that #2 cup of coffee. I listened to tapes of my college classes to make use of the time and take my mind of of road rage at being stuck behind a million jerks trying to cut each other off! Auto-feeders with a lot of feed, big water containers and several of them was the only way I had my chickens. Every day of the week it was dark when I left and dark when I got home all winter. At least you are so tired that you sleep like a rock! We are all wishing you the best!
