Official Squatch Watchers

I've not had my Crohn's medicine in 4 months due to this crap. So far I'm doing fine though and just trying to be carful with what I eat.
Prayers you can get your meds soon.
Glad you are able to control it by watching what you eat

Ok tester came this morning, waisted 5 strips figuring it out LOL

Before lunch 88
Hour after lunch 136
Sounds good?

Lunch was chopped and cooked
1 onion
1 small potato
2 Cups of broccoli, cauliflower, carrots
Turkey breast

Mixed with hummus

Dessert was half a serving of 86% chocolate and almond butter

Figured I would do a normal meal.

For me....88 is shaky, nauseated and dizzy. Your lunch had a decent amount of carbs so the 136 is lower than I would expect.

NOW then.....according to my doctor (the one I TRUST)
80-130 before eating
2 hours after eating 130-180
At bedtime 100-150
Those are for normal people numbers. :p
My personal numbers need to be a bit higher but I do try hard not to go above 180.

Interesting development with the (completely useless) primary physicians office....

Soooo to try and be brief....
Hubs has high blood pressure. During the covid shutdown he needed a refill. The doctor wanted to do a telephone visit before refilling his meds.....yes there is a fee for those. Because the "visit" would have been 100% useless hubs said no visit and that he would schedule to come in once things settled down.
Well today was the go in day. The doctor was a complete jerk! He wanted to draw labs....hubs just had labs done for the diabetes doctor. The PCP told him "Well have HER do the refill then!". I guess that doctor just fired himself.

Just as well anyway. That is the same office that failed to tell hubs he was a severe diabetic 5+ years of bloodwork having shown it. Not really any point in having them draw blood if the results show a serious problem and they never address it.

Fun fact....due to covid there are zero primary doctors in our area taking new patients.

The goal now is DON'T GET SICK OR INJURED cause there is no doctor. :th
X2 on that!

I was feeling slightly weak and dizzy when I got up to wash my hands before testing.
Breakfast was 2 eggs.

2 hrs after eating lunch 132

Might add a bit of toast to breakfast or half a bagel and see if that helps.

Be aware that physical activity will drive your readings down so that makes eating a bit more carbs like on days you will be really busy more important.

Anything 50-70 is time to hit the apple juice. Under 50.....not good, not good at all....just don't ever go that low. Ok?

I have been having first meal about 11 am, 6 hrs after waking, until Tuesday when I woke up dizzy. I have been eating last food before 7 pm.
Trying intermittent fasting to get rid of winter weight... and no gym. I did get back down to 154, but not lifting weights I am sure it's turning into fat.... I am 5 ft 2

ETA no wheat for me..or cow dairy
