Gosh I didnt mean that to sound snippy. I'm bad at social media. What I meant to say is I'm accepting as a duck owner that sometimes hard decisions need to be made. I lost sight that others don't feel the same way or don't want to hear about it. I deal with it by dark humor. That doesn't mean I don't love Lizzy and I'm sorry that I overshared. Ill watch myself in the future.

I love hearing she is better just don't want to know you've killed her. Sorry just me. :(
I know its ok I overshared and was insensitive. Its dealing with the pain of this happening to her. This sounded bad, I didnt mean it that way. You have always been there for me and saved some of my ducks I didn't know what to do with. I don't know what I would have done without you. I'm so sorry. And thank you for everything you've done for me and my babies.

This is why there is that feature called »spoiler«.…
You can share your inconvenient thoughts, but hide them behind a button that only people should click who haven't eaten during the last 15 minutes.
I don't want to switch with you, this kind of decisions are truly hard to make. 🤞🏻

TWO DAYS (nights) OFF! YAY!

@WannaBeHillBilly I meant you have more ummm... what's the opposite of procrastination? I can barely clean up after myself, much less build a patio for the trailer! :D
You are talking to the master of procrastination! 🤣🥴
Just ask my ducks about the - again - one foot deep bedding in their house… (Well, they actually like it until it starts to produce ammonia in spring)
You just need to kick your ass yourself sometimes, as hard as it may seem. What helped me is a to-do list where i break up every job in as many tasksk as possible. Example: I want to fix an OSB board to my garage wall, so i can hang up my tools. I broke this up into 12 little tasks:
  1. measure the board and mark the cutting line
  2. cut the board
  3. paint the board
  4. glue Styrofoam to the non painted side
  5. measure and mark nine screw holes
  6. drill screw holes
  7. temporary attach the board to the wall and mark the holes on the wall
  8. remove board from wall
  9. drill holes into the wall
  10. insert wall plugs
  11. re-attach board to wall with holes lining up to the plugs
  12. screw the board to the wall
I draw motivation out of checking off every item on the list. Currently i am at #7. - But i still have to pay the vehicle taxes for last year. And April 15th (tax-day!) is approaching so fast - again! 🤯
