Just saying that S21 is going to get cheaper as the S23 specs are already leaking out. So there is hope. Maybe a used one is a possibility.
Would you by any chance be a Samsung geek ? I bet you're lurking on that S23 😉.
It's about money but not only, even though we already buy most of our tech stuff second hand, it makes both of us feel bad. So if it's not completely necessary, it has to be something we really want to take the leap!
I thought it smelled OK. lol. I sprayed neem oil in my garden last year, not much result on pest control. So this year I am just letting doing nothing. I keep telling myself that I am doing permaculture (neem oil is only organic gardening), but really I have been lazy and doing nothing. 🤣 I do keep up with my composting and I have some nice quality compost almost ready to go.
I'm also the permaculture lazy type 😂. I used Neem oil two years ago on all my cabbages and kales and it was fairly successful as long as the leaves didn't get wet. Since we had automatic aspersion watering, it couldn't work in the long term as I needed to reapply every day.
Personally, I think it smells like marmite gone off 😂. Maybe the oil you used was diluted ?
Just read that you also had trouble with cabbages : what worked for me was switching them to a shadier location and seeding / planting later so that they don't spend too much time in blazing summer heat.
Piou-piou may be a very special chicken. She is slow growing but steady. What if her growth rate is more like humans, hahaha.
I'm still not sure she will turn out to be a healthy hen, which is what I really hope for her. I should be fixed in a week or two regarding her eventual gender change 🙄.
The first picture really showed me how small chipie is.

Gaston is growing a very nice tail. What a handsome boy!
Chipie is our tiniest chicken, even piou-piou is slightly bigger now.
And I'm very reassured that no one will want to have Gaston for dinner : he's now 16 weeks old, which I think is the right age to process a cockerel, and he's almost only huge yellow legs 😂. Even to make bone broth they don't look appetizing!

I hate the smell but found it very effective against Japanese beetle. I haven't used it in a while now, but I saw a Japanese beetle the other day so it may be time to start up with it again.
The drought wiped out the Japanese beetles for this year. At least here it did.

I was trying to get rid of the cabbage worms (no success). I see people talk about how much they hate japanese beetles. It appears that I don't have it here? knock on wood.
After my intense focus on them - Neem + waking at dawn each morning to drown them in a bucket of soapy water - I finally succeeded and haven't had them for 5 years. This year is the first time I saw one in that time.
They create the juiciest bugs that the chickens will LOVE so I may let them go until next season.

All during the Covid lockdown I was craving Chinese food and could not get any s they were all shuttered. It was very frustrating.
Restaurants were open but only for take out. Absolutely no dine in. Which was fine with me I only do take out.

And you had to pre order and go in at a specific time.,.. again ok with me, but many were not so receptive.

Now I have a craving for Boston Pizza ❤️

Wow. Amazing. Pretty much everything was open here but only for pickup.
I made a point of doing more restaurant food than usual to help them stay in business. Tough times. I think I ate Pad Thai every week for the entire time!

We had about 3 months at the beginning, in 2020 I got home from a project (was stuck out in AB from first march till end of June).

When I got home most stuff was open but limited occupancy. Then end of July 2020 all heck broke loose. Masks, everywhere, no in restaurant eating but could do take out…. Curfews no movie theatres etc couldn’t have any visitors in the home, though everyone I know did…

It wasn’t till this year April that almost all restrictions were eased. I still wore my mask due to my asthma, but in the end my 76 yr old mum gave it to me (thanks mum). Hahahahaha

Of course if it haven’t been for all this crap I wouldn’t have decided to get my chickies 😊

BFTP
My 3 gals as babies Curly, Fluffy, and Henny Penny (before I knew they were gals haha), and the original first 2 - Roxanne l'oeuf Hen ( I was optimistic she was a hen... Nope!), and Stanley the Stallion Chicken (I knew he was a he!).
