If I remember correctly, they don't have 'wet' tongues (unless they just took a drink). they don't have saliva in their mouths like we do. Maybe @BY Bob can confirm this?

She was. Chipie is a crazy uncontrollable little thing, but it was a wonder to see her raise those chicks and I would trust her anytime with another hatch.

[Grandma The Chicken]

I feel like me and Bob have the same chickens.
He has Sydney

I have Tony

He (had?) Daisy and Elphie

I have Parmesan and Mozzarella

But there is one thing he has and I don't
A Lavender Orpington

I am waiting for March and April to get a Lavender Orpington.
The question is... does he have a chicken similar to Grandma?

Perhaps, but Grandma is the oldest and the biggest crybaby in the group.
