I don’t have fluffy butt Friday pics, but how about flurry Friday pics?
I woke up to this:
You can see snow on top of the pitched tarp over the chicken run at the very left edge of the photo. This is California, people. Snow isn’t usually an issue here where I live. Only in the tall mountains. I’m only at 1000 feet here.
When I first offered for the chickens to come out and see it, it was like a huge no thank you.


But later in the day… like 10 hours later, this happened…
I carried Little Mill over to her friends.
This is the first and probably last time they will ever see snow.



We also did not have power for the majority of the day, but it’s back on now and I’m heating the house up.
