I think you've covered this later Bob. I would be interested in reading any papers that you are allowed to make public. How to Measure Success
I'm going to switch from chickens for a moment and reflect on a personal note.
I have from time to time mentioned how crazy my work has been since COVID reached the US. My team has been working with the CDC and pharmaceutical companies non-stop without any of the needed infrastructure (that I had been trying to get in place) ready.
Nevertheless they have succeeded. They were able to provide key information to assist at critical times. In the past week, the results have started to role in. They have been rewarded by having all 7 of their manuscripts accepted. This includes 2 of the largest COVID studies ever performed.
Additionally today we received the first of 3 anticipated contracts where we will actually be paid for all their hard work for the first time since COVID hit. Hopefully this will enable me to get them the help they deserve.
So much of this year I have been teetering on the edge struggling to find time. Time to get the work done, time to keep up the house, time to just relax and spend with the ladies. The whole team has had the same struggles. But what the team has done has saved lives and will save lives in the future. I could not be more proud of them.![]()
Shad, I don't think we are gonna make the dinner appointment. LAX won't allow me to take Jaffar on the plane!I think you've covered this later Bob. I would be interested in reading any papers that you are allowed to make public.
Congratulations on you and the teams achievement.
I've not been convinced by the honey recommendations yet. We keep bees and it's the propolis that is reputed to have the antibacterial properties.Have you thought of using honey as a wound dressing. It is an antibacterial.
I give live yogurt when I can find it. Danish Blue cheese sometimes and there is a probiotic drink you can buy here which I've used in the past.Oh dear. That does look nasty.
How do they manage to hurt each other so much with rounded off claws?
What do you give them for probiotics Shad? I know my girls love natural Greek yogurt.
I hope they settle down even more and the leg comes good promptly for you.![]()
Thank you for showing such an interest in my lamps and sculptures. And now for something completely different...

It's a Shadrach original.
Shad was very patient with my many questions and requests. The finished piece is very organic and tactile and includes the hidden slate paste art! I love it!
Thank you Shad.
And because this is ByBob's thread I have included a gratuitous shot of Tsuki.

"It's a sculpture of me isn't it? Shad has captured my wonderful curves. Bakawk!"
I figured you might. In fact I was torn whether to just message you about everything or share it with everyone. Of course I will share the references. As soon as they are made public I will share them.
Is anyone else interested in reading them?
Don't worry. They didn't wait up. Didn't leave any dinner either.Shad, I don't think we are gonna make the dinner appointment. LAX won't allow me to take Jaffar on the plane!(He really wanted to go too)
And I wanted to see your lamps.
