I would so much rather get her books, including classics while she has the interest instead of video games or other junk.

YAY for reading!

DH told me this story about when he was a kid: Whenever they'd go anywhere on a trip, he and his brother were told they could each pick out a book when they stopped at a store. Not candy, not a T-shirt. A book. This was from his mother. It got him on a life long habit of reading.

His dad would consult with them on any other "cool" souvenier, like rocks, or a carving, or something to hang on the wall.

They are gorgeous eye candy. Hope they learn to trust you and love/cuddle like Thane does!

The heart is for Branch.

But have to ask, how can you watch those movies I could never watch scary movies and never S King stuff. My BIL and I were just discussing that on the weekend - we both can’t watch horror movies.

Actually no one in my family watches them, we are more a spy action ‘James bond’ type movie lovers - oh and Star Wars / Star Trek

Scary does not bother me one bit. I never did get into the James bond movies. And I may be one of the few people who has never saw a star wars movie.
