Yes chickens remember each other, she will have a happy reunion then! But I want to vet that home, I feel so untrusting right now!

If they caught and rehomed so many of the flock, they're probably good people worried about chickens out in the snow. Shame they missed one but shemay have been sitting on a nest in a hidden spot.

Heavy Snow

@RoyalChick at 3:00 it got dark out the snow starting falling so hard I thought the sun had gone down.

That just happened here. The Princesses have moved into the Palace so I have shut the doors and delivered the last unfrozen water delivery of the day. It should be plenty to stay un-frozen until they go to sleep.
It is now full on blizzard with wind and snow. I a glad they decided to go in early because going out to lock them up after dark would not be my idea of fun in these conditions.

Agree! And could you instead ask them to give you 1-2 of the ones they took so she has some flock-mates?

Bored Chickens

What do chickens do in a blizzard? Pretty much what humans do. Nothing! The last time we had a storm like this was in 2016 and it caused me to build the larger coop. The big coop is working just like it should. Plenty of room for them to hang out. I swear no one moves in this video. I love how Aurora just stares out the window.
