So I'm not the only one who is seeing them.

I had to run outside just now to give someone a box of oranges. The fruit trees are loaded and everyone is trying to get them off of the tree's!
I love oranges! I'm going to plant an orange tree later this year!

So it finally stopped raining :clap

Here are my new breeding cockrel and his mom. The cuckoo marans hens are my sex link project allowing me to have dark eggs in the fridge and bred with the Hona they produce auto sexing chicks. Theyre getting on real well. Giving them some of the baby food was the only way i could get em to stay still.

He is not happy to be seperated from his wife and still in the adustment phase. The pullets are very happy with the accommodations. Though we will all be glad when im able to put em on fresh grass. As is though the shavings have kept em mostly dry and clean despite the last weeks constant downpours. Spring has sprung here.

About this update. Hate change. Probly wont post much for a little bit but i weathered the last big change and will adjust. Theyre working hard at making it work and sorting out all of the little glitches.
Uuuuggggghh.. the rain:barnie.. tell me about it! My poor gals are up to their knees... and your birds are gorgeous!

I have a friend who has five of the same outfit. He found a look that works for him, now he sticks to it. He told me Einstein had the same system!

I can't say the same, I love colour and patterns and variety, but I'm careful to purchase from stores with ethical supply chains.
I like color too - but I just can't get my act together so I just go for the same - I have multiple of the same so I can wash and still not have to think about what I am putting on. I do have a wide range of colored scarves though. And for bizarre reasons (they were on sale) my garden/chicken coop shoes are bright orange (when I clean them enough to see their original color). I hope the chickens appreciate my orange feet - they often stand on my feet as I walk around so I guess they do!

I've just shared a few posts with Nifty-Chicken on the update discussion thread about ads and I've been convinced that the ethics shaping byc are sound, so I paid for premium membership to cover my share of running the site and opt out of ads being served to me.
I didn't know you could do that

Scarves are such an easy way to invigorate an outfit and it's always nice to look at a scarf on someone else. It seems like evety single scarf is different :)

People here don't think I ever change my clothes. What they don't realise is when I bought the clothes I wear day to day I bought 3 pairs/units. It helps with the chickens strangely enough. I'm not changing my feathers every five minutes.:D
I definitely have a sort of work uniform around here. Either Ponte pants or jeans, and the depending on the season, a t-shirt or a flannel shirt. :D I don't feel like I need to think about what I'm wearing when I'm working around the house, grounds or chickens. :lau
