That is an awesome photo. I'm suitably frightened.
There is already a roof over the big run so this is a second roof. There should not ever be any snow on it. There could be rain on it but the run is sealed up in the winter. This looks good! I don't think a flat roof will shed water well, and it will get water on it - blown in rain & snow. Probably should tilt outward, toward the area between the coops. Or put plexi-glass on those two side walls and lose some breezes. But couldn't you have a tilted roof and still offer perches above it, such as one or more 2x3's or 2x4's floating just above the roof, but hanging from 2x4's coming down from the ceiling beams? Just throwing an idea out there...
Sounds like you are very prepared.Yeah, I have enro on hand, too. It’s easier to geg a precise dose, but harder to administer, since it’s a liquid.
They are telling you of all the events since last night. There is a lot to talk about!I guess they love me... I don’t have to add food or water in the mornings.. I usually do that in the evening.... I go out in the mornings to let them out into the yard and scoop the poop from under the roosts... after they all run out when I open the door they come back in and hang around![]()
That is some racket. They sure make noise down there in the bayou. Some of those sound like exotic tropical birds.Wanted to share what I go out to most mornings to clean the coop... and no, no one has laid an egg![]()
Maybe they get that loud, to scare away the alligators? That is some racket. They sure make noise down there in the bayou. Some of those sound like exotic tropical birds.
They are so loud that I really need earplugs... seriously! I always forget them! And then I literally will have to go and make Goosie stop! She is the screamer!!That is some racket. They sure make noise down there in the bayou. Some of those sound like exotic tropical birds.
