You try it, they follow me everywhere! I had one, even jump into my car when I was going into town. (Loving it, is a debatable issue) but yes, I love the chickens. (Not necessarily what mischief they do)You love it, stop pretending

Yes that!Don’t forget to post pictures of the new babies!
Maybe I could do a yacht, maybe… does it come with staff? I used to threaten to buy one and make the concierge at work (who I didn’t get on with) do my personal yacht shopping orders… lolYou're obviously not a sailor either.![]()
She could be thinking about it. She is grouchy, but she didn't puff up or shriek. Has she started the broody ticking time bomb cluck yet? I know you have ceramic eggs, maybe place all of them in that nest that phyllis is in. If she does sit, let her sit on them 3 or 4 days to make sure before you swap them out for the real thing. Knowing that you will make sure she will get a drink and eat the entire time sitting a couple days longer then the 21 will not hurt her.Let's Go to the Video
Is this hen broody?
Yes I think so. But mine won't touch the dandelions and they cannot get to the rhubarb. Not sure there is much oxalic acid in grass.A thought on calcium & foraging
Could oxalic acid in leaves like dandelions work against calcium absorption? Just thinking in terms of human nutrition, that used to be an issue at least (as in spinach has calcium, but the presence of oxalic acid counteracts absorption, so hard to say how much calcium is really getting in?)
She's not fluffing up like an angry pine cone. Perhaps she's thinking about it ~ or maybe she's just objecting to you interfering when she's trying to lay...? But then we know my broodies are all psychopaths.Let's Go to the Video
Is this hen broody?
Yes, that’s one of them. Haven’t used it on the chickens yet, but it’s AWESOME for humans. I also have fans without misting for inside the coop.Is this the one you have?

She is in the prime nest box. I really need to move her from that box. No one is going to like her being in that box. Will she go along with a move if I take eggs with her?She could be thinking about it. She is grouchy, but she didn't puff up or shriek. Has she started the broody ticking time bomb cluck yet?
