One of the hens at my house has odd sized wattles too. I think it must be quite common.
My Patricia had oversized wattles & comb. I always thought she looked rather like a rooster.

There's a lot of genetic diversity in legbars, isn't there? Hopefully it leads to a hen with fewer susceptibilities to reproductive problems :fl
There is and they are not supposed to be prolific layers. They are fairly new in the world of chicken breeds as well.

About 3-4 times a week. They did a run of every day for a couple of weeks in the spring but mostly I get one egg from the pair most days and sometimes they both lay on the same day.
Dotty got up at 1am this morning to lay. I have no idea what that was all about!
