i also find lemon water works awesome! (more so with stress + heat stress, but still its good to have around!)

i also find infusing it with thyme, basil or oregano works good to! Best of luck to you and amber and let me know if they work good!
Thanks for the link.
I make my girls oregano tea at times & they love it!

I LOVE that picture of Jessica grooming under her wing, the pattern of her wing and her feathering is awesome!
Is Cheetah's tail longer than most or usual for a rooster?
Roosters have longer tail feathers than hens do, but generally the length/curve isn't longer/bigger than the body size (Phoenix and the other long-tailed breeds excepted). some breeds have greater curves to the feathers which keeps the tail looking more compact...until they run and it flags out behind them. Cochins are one of the lots of curve. Cheetah isn't done growing yet (although he's getting close), but it seems like his tail is longer than he is. Hamburgs had tails similar to most standard breeds...I thought.... (he's my only experience with the breed). Most of the pullets have bigger feet that he does, too. Silver and Pear leave tracks that are roughly 3 inches across. Rusty was closer to 4 inches. Buster was @3.5 as was the giant hen. The pullets are 2.25-2.75 and Cheetah's look closer to 2 inches. He's gonna stay a tiny boy with a big presence.

Aw! Cheetahs so adorable!

Ok, I need to have a serious talk with Raven. She hatched the same day as Creamy. Creamy has been laying for almost 3 weeks....Raven, nothing. At this rate, Blueberry who is 3 weeks younger then Raven, will lay first. I really think Blueberry will lay in the next 2 weeks. Most of the signs are there. In the last week her comb and wattles have popped and are reddening up. Basil is showing interest in her and she's checking out the nest area's with him. Basil shows zero interest in Raven and she could care less about him, and the nest area's. I took these pictures a few minutes ago. Raven has nothing in the way of wattles and comb and I see a slight bit of red/purplish coloring in them at times. But where she has always had the black face and comb she is tricky. She is also Henrietta's daughter, and Henrietta didn't have large comb or wattles.
