Run an add: Free, you haul.
I see your point, but I still think that even the short time they had the freedom to live like real chickens was worth it. Normally they would be taken from their little prisons and murdered and made into dog food. These few lucky ones, get to scratch and peck the earth under their feet, and dust bathe, and run around, even for a short time. It’s worth it.Thanks everyone.
My view is that these poor creatures are dead chickens walking. Certainly for the Ex Batts their life was over when the battery threw them away.
There is far to much to do to make them safe and supply a standard of accomodation I would prefer them to live in.
While possible, it would take a few generations to get them to the point where they could free range with a decent chance of survival. They just don't know stuff that the tribes chicks got taught at a very early age by their mothers and other tribe members.
Well look at that! They have gone to the top to roost!
I think it’s wonderful that you are exposing your birds to the fine arts.Pecking Garden is refined.
...if that is what you want to call it...
