:hugsOh Bob... I’m so sorry for your loss. You gave her a good life and she went peacefully and well loved. Patsy was lucky to have you. DH Andrew also sends his condolences. He was quite alarmed as I was making dinner and catching up, and he looked up and I was crying for your sweet little girl and you. She will be missed and remembered well. :hugs

Kris, you are so sweet. Thank you so much. It's so nice to know that you and everyone understand.

I work from from home when I'm not traveling and something just told me to go check on everyone this afternoon when I found her. I'm so glad I wasn't on the road somewhere so I could be here. But it is very hard right now. I am dreading not seeing her tomorrow when I go to let them out. I know it will get easier over time but for now I will mourn her.

Oh that’s funny!

How are you today, Bob?

I spent the whole day in the yard with the flock. They truely kept me entertained with their antics. Including Aurora's sun bathing decisions. There was just one moment that got to me.

Lilly got separated from the other 3 at one point. She started calling out. Whenever her and Patsy could not see each other they would call out and the other would answer and they would continue calling back and forth until they found each other. It was really quite a racket.

Well when Lilly called out yesterday, no one answered. After a while her call became more plaintive. I had to go get her and bring her to everyone else. It was so sad, frankly I cried. :hit

I'm back out sitting with them this morning. It is beautiful. Mid 70s and they are having a ball out free ranging again and no one makes me laugh like these Littles.:gig
