I dont do shots. Im way more scared of needles than the flu. Unreasonable, no doubt, but thats how it is.☹

I used to be petrified of needles, then I had acupuncture. I'm not scared of needles anymore! :D Of course there's a big difference between an acupuncture needle and one needed for a blood test, but it's the whole psychological thing. Go have some dry needling; it may help with your needle phobia, plus dry needling doesn't hurt and makes your muscles feel great!

I feel a bit silly about the whole tetanus bit. I didn't realize how ridiculous it was to not get it until I looked it up. Also, didn't realize that I needed to keep it up to date. Luckily, I talked to Shad and the others at the cafe. They are the reason I went and got it.

First of all, so sorry about the skin cancer fight and your fear of needles. :hugs I've had pleurisy before, and it is painful. That's not what the flu is like. I couldn't breathe. Couldn't get enough oxygen in my lungs. I really should have called 911, but I kept telling myself I would live. Luckily I did. I hadn't had the flu in 40+ years before that. It's just worth thinking about. Shots aren't that bad. Close your eyes and you might not even know it happened.

You don't have to get a shot to get the flu vaccine. There is an aerosol version called flu mist. I highly recommend it for needle-phobic individuals.
