There is this time in the morning where the flock goes quiet. It used to be coffee clatch time with the Ned and Lucky. It is happening right now. They all just stop moving about and rest. Sansa and Sydney are purring behind my chair. It is simply a special time to be with them.

Happy Fall Friday

Since spring has started for all of our Aussie friends, I thought that I would add a fall theme to today's photo and Sansa was more than happy to oblige. The leaves are starting to drop off the magnolia tree already.

I have been predicting an early fall... the leaves have been falling here for a month.... and believe me we are still in the dead of summer!

Our drought and heat were so bad July into August that my birch tree started dropping leaves back then. It stopped as soon as we got some rain. I imagine it will start back up in a few weeks.

That first picture of Sansa is really a work of art with her feathers mirroring the falling leaves. I never know the various things but you should submit for picture of the week and calendar etc.!

I got very lucky as she stepped right into a patch of sunlight for me.

MJ alerted me. I had some on file so used those.
