You just described my X wife! :lau:gig
An angry male is nothing to be trifled with. They can cause some serious damage. I have a Canadian friend [not @Kris5902 ] who doesn't quite believe me when I say they aren't really all that cute & cuddly. I can quite believe they gave rise to the drop bear mythos.

Well I decided to try my “take a nap after a cup of coffee” technique for improving the weather, and woke up as the rain lightened off. I figured it’s not like any of the girls will want to be out in that downpour anyways... I was wrong, so wrong! There is white stuff on the ground. Awful cold wet white stuff.View attachment 2458691
Note the dark grey spots? That is slush. One of the reasons I dislike S*** is that we get very wet heavy stuff, not the fluffy powder, dry cold stuff. Do not be deceived... all the mud is still there, the ground is unfrozen, and it will soak you through as fast as the rain does! I’m really hoping we don’t have a white Christmas.
Oh, YUK!!!! There are things I hate more ~ but not many. :hugs

I've been going through some pictures of the place I live that were taken before I moved here. It's pretty distressing tbh. What's distressing is how few of the creatures that were brought here survived; rabbits, goats, ducks, chickens, guinea fowl, dogs, cats, a pig.......
I don't know what she was called, or exactly what happened to her or her chicks.

This might have been a rooster called George when he was young.

Marans chicks. All died from coccidiosis.

Koalas are more a handful than they appear. They're very heavy. They screech. And their claws are very long and strong. But they sleep 22 hours a day and they usually move slowly (although I've seen one running). So they're not much bother unless they drop a poo pellet on you by accident.

If ever you hold one, don't pat its head because the ears are very sensitive. But you can pat its back as much as you like.

And that's my koala knowledge exhausted :) 🐨

I’ve got a photo of me holding a koala. I’ll see if I can find it.

I saw this scene on the visit just before I moved here.
There were three chickens (two roosters and one hen) kept in that tiny triangular coop 24/7. They died.

 You have to wonder about some people.... I'm glad their chooks got you. :hugs

I wonder if that’s why some people mistakenly think that koalas are bears, or vice versa. We were in a natural history museum in Dublin, and there’s a taxidermied koala with a sign saying “Koala Bear”. I was like “Where’s the curator?!”:he

It's nearly as bad as the tourists who have 48 hours in the country & expect to see the Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Ayers Rock, Kakadu, The GBR, the Nullabor, The Great Southern Road et al in an afternoon's drive. 🙄
