I have been issued instructions I am to wear thongs in the house after the man has mopped our floors. apparently my feet are dirtier than my outdoor footwear!

Rebate request
Requesting a tax rebate in the form of group reassurance. Maggie's new 'grey do' is just pin feathers as she finishes out her molt. Right? I am 90% sure, and will try and look closely when she roosts tonight, but she always buries her head when she sleeps which feels like a smart move to keep warm so I don't really like to disturb her, and during the day she doesn't keep still. I am reluctant to grab her because she has some other patches still molting and I worry I will hurt her.

They look like pin feathers to me.

The ones in hard to reach places seem to take longest to open. They can't preen away the cuticle and have to use their feet or rely on a friend

Yep wide feet so hard to get shoes that fit. My standard footwear is thongs so my feet are generally pretty filthy.

Apparently you can get slippers with ‘Swiffer soles’. It has been suggested I should wear those in the house.
Although I should be a tad offended by the suggestion, I am intrigued by the multi-tasking possibilities!
